I’ll be performing at the Grand Signature Piano in Jakarta, under the auspices of the Indonesia International Piano Competition! I'll be playing a sort of two-sided program - the first half will look back at the Austro-German past, while the second will look at how American composers took that legacy and built something unique from it.

The program is as follows:

Haydn — Sonata in E-flat major, Hob. XVI: 49

Mendelssohn — Prelude & Fugue in E minor, Op. 35, No. 1

Intermission

George Gershwin — Prelude No. 1

Amy Beach — Four Sketches, Op. 15

Samuel Barber — Sonata in E-flat minor, Op. 26
